Welcome

Welcome to the Sella lab. Our group combines mathematical modeling and statistical analyses of genomic data to study questions in population and evolutionary genetics. We are particularly interested in the evolutionary processes that give rise to adaptation and disease. To learn more about our work, check out our research interests and selected publications.

We are located in the Arts and Sciences campus of Columbia University, on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Lab members come from diverse academic backgrounds, including Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics and Biology. Learn more about joining the lab here. Our weekly journal clubs and lab meetings are joint with the Przeworski and Andolfatto labs.
